Honestly? You could spend the $500 and get the screen you so desperately seek, or you could just keep dreaming.

Obviously, you either think that $500 is too much for a touchscreen or you just don't have the $500 to spend. Either way, it appears that you're not going to be purchasing that screen from Troll.

Might I offer the following information?

A product is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. If you're not willing to pay the asking price for the screen, you have three choices:

Angel attempt to bargain the price down,

(b) search for an alternative supplier that can provide a similar product at a lower price, or

(c) use your imagination and just pretend you have a touchscreen.

For option (c), you could use one hand to manipulate your touchpad/mouse/trackball, while your other hand zips across your screen. Blum 3

ebay

there's a seller offering a touchscreen overlay on ebay for $44.95 as we speak. He won't ship to Australia Sad so go for it. It's serial, so you'll need a USB-serial converter.

Sorry, no link, you'll have to search.
