Hey Guys, I'm interested in buying a new Microsoft 802.11B Wireless router off ebay (model mn500), but I was wondering if this would work like any regular router with my airport card (no mac support, supposedly in the mn500) in an ibook. Is there any issues anyone's had with this router? Is this a good router for my ibook, or would I be better off buying a different brand router?

WiFi is WiFi, no matter the brand, as long as it is the same speed, ie, B, G, A, N, etc. The only issue you may have is how the router is configured. MOst have a web-based config system, so you can use it on almost any machine.
I tried one of the Microsoft routers a couple years ago, but ended up returning it. For basic use, they're fine, but they don't have detachable antennas. I then bought a D-Link, which had a single detachable antenna, but it was a piece of junk. I finally caved and bought a Linksys WRT54G, which is God's own Wi-Fi router. Diversity antennas, awesome configuration options, and the firmware is under the GPL, so a bunch of people have written customized versions of the firmware to do various things. For the $50 or so they go for on eBay, you can't go wrong, and it works great with my AlBook.
I didn't even know that there were Microsoft branded routers on the market. I'm not shocked though; there appears to be a Microsoft branded everything as of late. Kind of reminds me of the General Motors branded refrigerator that an uncle of mine once had -- built like a tank, it was.
Regards,
Willy
