emac 1.25 power button

hi yall, i have an emac 1.25 ghz logic board that i have connected to a atx psu.

my power connections are correct, and the green LED on the logic board is lit.

but i need the power button to turn it on!

does anyone know where the power button pins are on an emac 1.25 ghz logic board?

Re: emac 1.25 power button

Not sure about a Gen3 eMac, but my Gen1 700Mhz eMac can be turned on by shorting the red and black wires comming from the power connector. If you don't have that cable then you'll need to do some looking Smile Two of the pins on the MB connector goto ground, the other two pins are the ones you short to start the mac.

Hope this helps Smile

I should clarify by saying you momentarily short them, just like a PC with a ATX power supply.
