Here is my idea...
There is a spray on rubberizing product that can be gotten from many auto supply stores. I figured that a carefully applied rubber coating would make my Powerbook immune to any more of those little pitting marks as well as other shortcomings of Apple's choice of Aluminum. I miss my old Lombard, and if done well, a mod like this would remind me of my old lappy.
Of course, my fear is overheating caused by the layer of rubber serving as insulation.
