I snagged myself an Apple ][C Plus, and the thing works great, except that outside of the system disk I have no software for it. Seeing as it uses 3.5 disks, I figured I'd be able to get software over to it quite easily. MISTAKE.
I've tried this tutorial and two others like it. I've spent an ENTIRE EVENING trying the steps provided over and over with no result. The "BINSCII" program refuses to work at all. I carefully strip the resource fork out and give it the proper file type, copy the program to the disk, and get beeped at with a bunch of "SYNTAX ERROR"s when I type in the command that allegedly makes it act like a real Apple ][ program.
So I'm going to ask a pretty useless question: does anyone out there have an Apple ][ with a working copy of the programs "BINSCII" and/or "SHRINKIT" on 3.5 floppy, and can he/she make a disk image of that floppy that I can just write back to a real disk?
