Powerbook G3 Wallstreet PRAM battery?

Does anyone know if the rev 2 Powerbook G3 Walstreet has an internal PRAM/clock battery? I know the clamshell iBook G3 used the normal laptop battery insted, but I don't know about the Powerbook.

PRAM battery

If the power plug is always engaged is a functioning PRAM battery even necessary? You say yours is dead but can you still boot and use your computer as you normally would as long as on A/C power?

Thanks

I believe the answer is yes..

I believe the answer is yes...
My Wallstreet has a bad pram battery, ( Will not hold correct date and time etc.) Leaving it powered -up thru the A/C power supply,
the date and time , and other settings have remained correct, even using sleep mode.

Constant A/C power overrides bad PRAM battery

Makes sense to me!

I'm upgrading to a Wallstreet picked up on eBay and it supposedly has a bad PRAM battery and although it comes with a new one I would have to install it, which I feel certain I can do, but would rather do it at sometime in the future because I read 12 pages of instructions online on how to change it, and there are so many pages because to get to the PRAM battery you have to remove the Key Board, Heat Shield, Hard Drive, Processor, Modem, Clutch Cover, Display, Upper Case and the audio in/out cable from the sound board.

I am currently running an old 520c (25 Mz - unbelievable, huh!)and it was my introduction to the PowerBook after my years of desktops (Mac 128K, Mac Plus, LC II, Performa, Power Macintosh 7200/200)because I sold a business and its commercial building last year and my bookkeeping program which carries forward every year is Mac based and since I don't have an office anymore and really don't want a home office, I will have this in a "den" which doubles as a guest room and don't want an in-your-face desktop. But I bought and installed RAM for it from instructions I printed out from online and it was rewarding so I'll put the PRAM battery on but now only when I can set aside the time (and nerve).

So I'm going to "move up" to a Wallstreet and your answer to my question was most appreciated.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond.
