I believe the more important question is whether the RAM is high density or low density. The early imacs only recognize low density PC66, PC100, and maybe PC133. They might recognize the high density, but only by half, so 128mb will be read as 64mb. But low profile is no problem and preferred.
this is the memory i bought would it work as 128mb each

Well, the pivotal word there is "bought," which means it's on the way, right, and you'll be able to find out yes or no. Looks like it should work fine, but looks with RAM can often be deceiving. You should probably ask the seller if he knows if it will work in an early iMac, and whether he knows if it's high or low density before installing it. When you click on the photo you get a larger picture which shows Infineon chips which are usually good chips, and hopefully the photo is identical to what you receive, but "Picture is for representational purposes only," so I wouldn't count on it. Adage = add age. A little older, a little wiser--the usual case when buying RAM. There's a lot of people here who are much wiser than I, so chime in please if you know better.
