Does anybody know anything about this old site on TriPod that had new Apple IIgs software for sale WarLords and others? A Robert Ryan and maybe a Nathaniel Perkins. It seems thay maybe they never finished what they started.

They maybe on a site called Diigg, then again maybe not. No way to contact them.

Apple 110 baud modem

I went to a school auction and found TONS of apple computers and accessories out in a yard thrown in a big pile, that has been left out in rain and weather, with no care at all. I saved some of the things that worked and bought about 600 floppy disks for a DOLLAR! And bought a whole class room size lot of apple stuff for $1! I know, unbelievable. I found a modem in the stack and tried it out on my IIc. It worked! It tried to dial but I didn't hook in the phone line to it yet. What can I do with it? How do I use it.

Apple IIc won't successfully copy disks

I have been trying to make some copies of my important disks, and I go into the system utilities from the prodos system disk, and it never has any errors copying, but I try to boot the EXTRA copy of ProDos that just finished copying, and the new backup disk won't boot! It just goes to a thing with a * at the prompt and I can't use any commands or anything. And it does that with every bootable disk I have, but the regular copies boot fine! What's going on?

Apple II as trash! No way!

At my son's school, he wants an apple iie they have in a room with no teacher in it and he looked in there and saw an apple iie. And he wanted it... I checked it out and it's only missing 3 keys. Otherwise, nice condition. With disk drives and monitor and the IIe. And on top of it, is a paper taped on it saying "throw all this away"! That made me pretty mad. They are just going to throw it away. It probably hasn't been in use since 1985 or something. In the disk drive is apple dos 3.3! and in the second one is prefixes and suffixes. It's not even plugged in!

Using ADTPro

I don't understand something on the ADTPro thing. I know you can transfer the disks images and all that with it, but I am trying to do this with an Apple IIc and don't understand where I can get the correct serial cable for it. Where can I get one?

IIfx: dumpster trash or valuable antique?

I bought it at an auction 10 yrs ago, it boots, its got a video card, I added to maximum possible ram, its the most expensive computer Apple ever sold.

Should I take advantage of a legitimate opportunity to discard it for free responsibly, or should I try to sell it? Thanks

People who sell for prices like it's still 1992 make me sad.

Truely awsome F8 Non-Autostart Rom!

Here's an interesting F8 Non-Autostart ROM , this rom was created by a friend of mine ,

back in the day , this rom was used for peeking into programs , and ofcourse obvious -

reasons.... It burns to a 2716 EPROM , depending upon which model II+ you have , you may

need a socket that is wired , connected to the Eprom , so that the II+ will accept the rom.

Below is a bit of info on the rom , I think it's cool that you can add the features of a non

autostart rom to a II+ :O)
