Calling Applesoft GR routines from assembler

I used to have a document, magazine or book (well, I may still ahve it somewhere but I don't remember) back in the day which had info on how to call the Applesoft GR and HGR routines from assembler.  Basically where to JSR to do things and what memory locations and registers to set first.

If anyone has that or can point me to it, it would be great.  I wrote a little Applesoft program that draws a splash screen in low-res for a 32MB ProDOS disk image that I'd like to convert to assembler and make a .SYSTEM file out of.

Apple III plus disk interface pinout (DB25)

I've been looking for this, but can't find it anywhere.

I know it's basically the same as the DuoDisk connector, but the available pinouts for that leave out many of the pins, since DuoDisk doesn't need them.

Apple made an adapter, IDC26 to DB25, to use the Disk III on the Apple III plus, but I don't see the specifications for that anywhere either. Does anyone have one of these adapters?

Or, is there anyone with an Apple III Plus who would be willing to beep out the connections between the inner 26 pin header and outer DB25 connector on the motherboard?

Apple II+ woes continue...

Hey everyone...

I have been ignoring my II+ for a while (I have two of them), but got one down to fire up and ensure everything was OK. Obviously, since I am posting here, it isn't OK!

I can boot into DOS 3.3 via FloppyEmu or actual disk drive.  No problem.

When I try to boot anything that has graphics in it (let's say, Ultima IV, or ), I get random text on the screen, and the disk drive continues to spin, nothing happens.

Two already completely completed and tested, these are just waiting for 40 pin sockets and 82C55 chips to get here.

How do I use this ALS Smarterm II?

I was looking through some old cards and came across this Advanced Logic Systems Smarterm II with RCA jacks. I tried to Google for it, but I'm not finding what I'm looking for. Does anybody know what this is used for? What are the RCA jacks for? I would guess it's for video, but there are no markings saying how they should be used. What slot does it go in?

AMR SCSI

I was playing with an AMR SCSI card and was wondering if there was a later version of the EPROM, I have V1.2.

I was hoping that there might be a version that allows more than two partitions

See Apple ][ on Apple IIe boot screen.

This Apple IIe machine has some problems,  to be sure. A lot of random characters and such. But I shouldn't see "Apple ][" on the boot screen, correct.? Possibly someone swapped in an Apple II plus ROM, perhaps? Self diagnostics sometimes inditcates a ROM or many bad ROMs. Sometimes indicates RAM. Often goes into monitor or freezes. When I get "]" prompt, I can do HOME command and it executes normally but does not clear the screen completely. I can run a simple program, 10 PRINT "HELLO" and it does run but usually prints out many wrong characters.

Cannot get Yellowstone Card to work

Hi all, hope you're having a good day!

I purchased a Yellowstone card for my Apple IIe over a year ago after hearing about how much everyone loved it and all the different software options it could open up to me. However, when I put it in my system it will not work. I tested it extensively and messaged Steve from Big Mess O' Wires back and forth many times and we just unfortunately hit a brick wall and I decided to give up at the time. I decided to pick this back up again because I really want to get this card working with my system.
