- Faculty member at Virginia Tech for 31 years - I taught Instrumentation and automation - generally to none engineers - my courses were as series called " Electronics for Scientist" . During this time -1967 to 1998 we moved from minicomputers into microcomputers and all that went along with the field of Instrument Automation. It was a great time - we were involved in helping to create an educational book series and taught many professional workshops in us an a number of foreign countries. During this time and to this day I am a serious collector of historical microcomputers.

Historical microcomputer collecting , Amateur Radio , Director of Foundation for Amateur International Radio Service FAIRS, Marketing and promotion of businesses in our Blue Ridge area, Publish Magazine - Floyd Virginia, enjoying the great outdoors- camping boating, Enjoy our 5 children and 17 Grandkids.
