What happened to that ventless Apple II?

A few days ago I saw a ventless Apple II listed on eBay. The listing was kind of odd as it said not bid on the Apple II. The listing said it was a buy it now at a listed price but you had to send an email to the address in the listing. Today, I cannot find that item listing on eBay. Did someone buy it? Or did eBay remove the listing as, I believe, you are not allowed to state your email address on eBay?

Probably removed from eBay

Probably removed from eBay for violation of listing terms.

And quite likely a scam.  A number of people have been ripped off in deals like that.

Pay attention to Apple II

Pay attention to Apple II listings , there has been a number of ebay accounts hacking lately, they sell high value Appe II , but also other things, with copies of old ebay listings.

One even appeared on a local version of ebay in Germany with an exact copy of an old ebay ver.4 Apple II listing so be careful.

If an auction seems too good

If an auction seems too good to be true...  it just might be.  They like to copy "purple unicorn" auctions...  Items like ventless Apple ][ which are super rare and valuable.  Then they take multiple people's money, preferably outside the eBay system so there are no protections...  then disappear.  The item doesn't really exist.  They are just stealing people's money.  Caveat Emptor.
