os 7 on an ibook g4?

would it be possible for me to install os 7 on my ibook g4. it has os x on it already and i wouldn't delete it, but i like the look of os 7 better and i want to play old games on it. if it is possible, does anybody know where i could download such a thing?

Nope, the newer hardware/firm

Nope, the newer hardware/firmware does not support booting anything less than Panther, and Classic can only run 9.2.2.

Use an emulator

You can run System 7 using an emulator like vMac or Basilisk. You'll need to track down ROM images, but if you're willing to dig through Google for a while, they can be found.
Using an emulator also has the advantage of not modifying your current operating system.

Why on EARTH do you want OS7?

Why on EARTH do you want OS7?! Not only did it crash all the time, but it didnt support anything. You could get an older Powermac and run OS7 and have it be plenty fast. As for looks, you can skin OSX to make it look like whatever you want with a bit of time. There may be a OS7 look-a-like skin already.

Agreed...OS 7 crashed a lot.

hehe... it's a she, by the way.

is shufflepuck cafe that game where you had to fight all those different people, and one of them was a witch and she'd flash you if you won? cause i loved that game
