Nokia 5185 and a PC

Is it possible to connect a Nokia 5185 to a PC in order to back up the numbers stored in the phone's phone book? My brother cracked his screen and before he gets a new phone he needs the numbers. I've seen a lot of auctions on ebay for data cables and software that say they work with the 5185 but Nokia doesn't list it as a phone they support syncing with.

Anyone had any luck with 3rd party syncing software?

Thanks.

What service provider? If

What service provider?

If the phone has a SIM card and the numbers were stored to it, then when you swap the SIM into another phone the numbers will be there.

Provider and SIM

The provider is Cingular, but that shouldn't matter as it's a capability of the phone not the service. This isn't to use it as a modem, just to get the data off. Checking for a SIM card was the first thing I did. I couldn't find one and Nokia doesn't mention one on their site, nor do other cell phone sites.
