I'm not trying to start anything here, but I just wanted to point something out. You can get a brand new 12" ibook g4 directly from Apple for $999.00. I know that Apple's hold their value, but $899.00 for a used two year old ibook g3 running jaguar?
Doesn't sound all that unreasonable to me.
You would really pay $899.00 for a used 2 year old ibook g3 when you can get an ibook g4, brand new from apple, for a hundred dollars more? Wow. Checking completed items on ebay, I see that most of these iBooks have sold for under $800.00 save two of them which sold for $810.00. While six went for under $600.00, the lowest having gone for $460.00. That is six out of twelve completed listings. A little research shows this machines market value is definately below $899.00, especially when you think about you could get for a hundred bucks more.

Oh, I thought you meant it the other way. It's not a good deal, but I wouldn't buy an iBook anyway.
She has it listed on Powerbook Central for $849. It does have a 14" screen, and seems to have pretty good specs, but even a 900 G3 has nothing on a 1.2+ghz G4.
