Sushi - or sashimi - is for me second only to a good Indian meal.
The supermarket nearby has little bento-box meals with several pieces of suchi - nothing more dramatic for fish than that fake crab stuff - but once mixed with a bit of the soy and a dollop of wasabi, it's a little piece of heaven.
i'm lucky enough to have a sushi bar a few blocks down the road.
my mom personally knows the owner.
its called Thousand Crane
best japanese and chinese foood ive ever had.
Philly Roll is the best!

... and if you hand a Texan a piece of raw fish, it's gonna get fried...
I've had sushi, and I've had sashim...
...but neither one compares to beer-battered fresh-water catfish served with beans-n-rice and cornbread!
Yeeeeehaw!
Damn that sounds good. Of course, here in Minnesota it would be walleye, but same deal.
My gf is big into sashimi, but I can't stand the stuff.
oooh..... put them next to each other, it'd be a tough choice for me........
that does sound good though.....
completely agreed. not just fried, that suckers gonna get DEEP FRIED. At least theres a few fellow texans on this site
I used to like fried fish...unti I had fish and chips at Bognor.... NEVER AGAIN!!!
(I bet most ppl in the south of the UK, know about Bognor )
There's a sushi place in Campbell called Sushi Zono. Their wasabi is so potent, that after eating their Maguro, you'll talk to god.
i never was a fan of wasabi. tastes like metal to me
I can't taste my cutlary...
