removing plastic color

OK, so I've seen the color removed from the iBooks, G4's and AirPort but is it possible to remove the color from the plastic on a iMac or flavored keyboard? I've seen G3 Blue & Whites fade in color as well as flavored keyboards too. So is there a way to speed up this process? I have a Micro Connectors Lime green keyboard and my fiance loves it but it doesn't match her Ruby iMac. Any sugestions???

Take Care,

Danny

Leave it in the sun for a few

Leave it in the sun for a few years. The color is in the plastic, so other than painting over it only time will fade it, but not remove it.
