Any insight would be helpful

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-FX250K with a PIII 800 and 128mb ram and after reinstalling Win2k the cdrom drive has stoped working. It showes up in the BIOS, But i can't boot from any cd's

try cleaning the laser

CD Cleaners are cheap these days
