Leather case for Newton, still in the box

Hi everybody.

I have a Newton leather case, in the original box; I believe it was never used. The case is clean as new. Only the box is in less-than-perfect condition.

PM me if you want this. Let me know either Angel how much you are willing to pay (excluding shipping), (b) what cool item or items you want to trade for this, or (c) both of the above.

Check out my image gallery for pics.

Later,

Abe

Size?

Is that big enough to hold a MP 2x00?

Size matters, but fit matters more

I don`t think size is the issue - the 2x00 Newtons were about the same size as the original unit, IIRC. However, this case has a plastic pin that goes to a hole in the back of the Newt to hold it in place. As for compatibility, I`m not sure. The Apple item number is H0012LL/A. From that, you can do research as to compatibility. Please let me know what you find out if you do that.

?

I am having a heck of a time checking on that part number. Does the inside look like this http://www.jksalesinc.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=25_37_33&products_id=80?

I would like to have your case, if my MP 2100 fits well inside of it. Can you post a shot of the inside of the case?

Thanks!

No go

Sorry Doug…

The case in the link you showed looks different, inside and out.

From the site you linked...

"This case is the all-in-one solution for your MessagePad 120, 130, 2000 or 2100"

So the case I have must be for pre-120s only. Thanks for doing the research anyway.

Hi Abe,

Hi Abe,

If you are talking about a leather case with a zipper and a plastic pin in the middle just a bit above center then it's a MP100 case and those were not too useful... I was looking for one and finally someone else just gave me a free velcro case for my MP100...You CAN'T use it for any of the other models as it's a bit shorter and they don't fit in the enclosure well..

Please send me a photo so I can 100% confirm it... but this is the only case with a Pin on the back side. The MP100 has a recepticle and the pin should also look like a Philips head screw driver IIRC.

New pic

I have uploaded a pic of the inside of the case.

If you want it, make me an offer either in US dollars (excluding shipping) or something cool to trade. If you want to trade, PM me a list of what you have to offer. Apple stuff is cool, but not the only possibility; I am also especially interested in Atari stuff.
