AIOs, LC580s, and G3 upgraded towers...

A local school is letting go of several older machines and they need a good home.

Free for the price of shipping from 32244:

 • several LC580s - pretty stock config, OS unknown
 • several All-in-ones - config and OS unknown

I am unsure of how many of these there are, but I anticipate that I will be able to provide as many as you ask for. These machines will include:

 • CPU
 • Monitor (for the LC - yes, for the AIO - not sure yet)
 • keyboard + mouse
 • any cables to support anything above (including AC)

$50 + shipping from 32244:
The $50 is what it will cost me to get (per machine) and I pass that on to you Smile .

 • sixteen G3 upgraded PowerMac ranging from 6x00 to 9x00 with a few (3 or 4) of these being StarMax clones, but mostly Apple.

These machines will include:

 • CPU
 • keyboard + mouse
 • any cables to support anything above (including AC)

If I can get monitors, I will update this thread.

These are all first come-first serve. Shipping price will need to include packaging and I can let you know that when I know what you want and how many of them.

I take PayPal and am not looking to profiteer, just rescue.

School Surplus

Hey, if you can get any Blue and White or Graphite monitors, I'd be interested in one.

Prices for shipping

In order to answer some of the questions I have gotten about shipping, I have set some flat rates. These prices assume you are US.

AIO - $45
LC580 - $40
PowerMac towers - $90 (this includes the already stated cost of $50)

These prices cover shipping from 32244 via UPS Ground, packaging, and that's it. The weight of these has an influence on the price. If I make anything off of this it is really pocket change. These just need a good home.

For non-US - I will ship to you, but it will cost more. I will just need to have an exact address in order to quote a price.

*bump*

These things are not going to be here long and I have not had any takers on any of it short of what I take for myself.

I know some of you were interested in some 9600's and there are a few in this lot.

Send me a PM if you want any - they all need a good home! The window of opportunity here may only laast for another week or two.

No, the towers here are G3 upgraded 6x00, 7x00, 8x00, and 9x00 machines. I did not have plans to do pieces/parts of these unless a lot of people ask and you are the first. But yes, the G# upgrade cards from one of these would work for you. These are Sonnet cards. I do not know what the RAM situation looks like, I doubt they are maxed but are at least as good as stock.

Update:
There are 10 LC 580s, 4 LC 550s, and 20 8600 PowerMacs (with up to 200MB RAM and most with USB.

The AIOs are not the GE AIO as I originally stated and I apologize for the mistake - I had a miscommunication with the school.

Also note that the price of the PowerMacs is corrected to $75.

I apologize for the confussion I created with bad info.

Wow, zing! Been looking for

Wow, zing! Been looking for a lc550 motherboard for a while. So in addition to the g3 card I'd be interested in one of those. Probably not going to happen - but may as well express interest.

I can get you the LC 550, but the G3 card comes with a PM 8600 with about 200MB RAM and should also have a USB card.

Coming to a close...

I can get these up through Monday. I have already picked up (or will be doing on the second trip) stuff for the following Fritter Critters:
dvsjr
macg4
MacTrash1
Kreats

If you do not see your name, I have lost you. PM me ASAP.

After Monday, the local Mac Group will get in and pick through what's left and this offer withdrawn.
