Radius PrecisionColor PCI drivers

Anyone have an idea where I could find drivers for a Radius PrecisionColor PCI card? I'm not sure just which one it is, only that it's made in 1995 according to the print on the board, and it's a PrecisionColor according to System Profiler in 8.6

It's quite a nice card for colour & resolution, but really suffers when scrolling - thought it worth looking around for a driver in case that gave it enough of a speed boost to make it more comfortable to use Smile

Mac Driver Museum

The knighttech archive at the Mac Driver Museum has what you need. Scroll down the page to RadiusWare PCI v3.3.

Those cards are certainly functional, but were no speed demons even back in the day. Still, some of the spiffier versions allowed pretty huge rez displays, at least by mid-90s standards. Does the version you have include a slot for adding additional RAM?

Ahhh - thank you greatly! I'm

Ahhh - thank you greatly! I'm hoping for nothing more than a bit of increased speed in scrolling, no gaming or other 3D for this 6400. At the moment the card is slower at that than most of the NuBus powermac inbuilt video (or Quadra video, for that matter). Unfortunately I won't get to try it until the weekend, but that's OK.

There's no slot for extra RAM, and as it is it tops out at Thousands of colours when at 1152x. It's enough for the 1024x768 display on the AppleVision 1710 it's used with.

Just a note - the RadiusWare

Just a note - the RadiusWare PCI v3.3 on that page links to a file that's a non-PCI radiusware from 1994 - but the 1.3 version loaded and works perfectly. It's *way* faster in one noticeable area, being the scrolling!

Sometimes things work out just perfectly :).
