ok people, i cant find how to do this anywhere.... i want to add a hard disk activity light to my single 1.8 G5. as you may or may not know the g5 uses SATA drives. it would be too easy if it was IDE.....
i was wondering if anyone knew how i could do this?
There's an LED output on the SATA power connector. Not all drives support it though.
could you or somebody find a diagram or picture please? thank you much!
My company makes sata backplanes with the activity light. I'll ask the layout guy next week.
