Hello everyone,
It seems that almost every other time I try to boot up my beloved PowerBook Wallstreet, It Gets a system error opon startup. The description of the error said it was a "bus error". I try the reset key combo, but it doesnt work so I have to unplug it (it has no battery). The other problem I have been having constantly now, is that, left to right the one to zero keys, and the q to p keys dont work at all. It used to be ocasional, but now it seems to be happening all the time for some reason. Maybe do I need to replace the keyboard? and help or ideas would be greatly be aprieciated.

Does anyone have any ideas? Plus now it is totally dead. When I plug it in, now it does nothing, instead of the fans spinning up and the sleep light going on briefly, nothing happens. I suspect either a dead adaptor, seeing as how I got a different used one recently, or a dead pram battery. Is their any way I can test the adaptor without using another PowerBook, since I dont have one that works? But, until I get this resolved I have an IBM ThinkPad that my school is giving to me that I can use anyway. I mean, its not a Mac, but it will have to do.

Problems in either of those are known to cause startup issues.

Thanks dankephoto, but can the built in keyboard do that also? Sorry for the confusion in case you misunderstood but I meant the internal keyboard. Is it possible for the built in keyboard to cause startup problems as well?
A failure in the built-in keyboard can cause startup problems. Now I'm not saying this is one of those cases, but on a non-starting Wallstreet it's one of the first things I try.

I unhooked the thin plastic cable things from the keyboard, and tried booting it up but it still won't give me a sign of life.
