Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows if the motherboard for the 466 MHz G3 Clamshell can be installed in the 300 or 366 MHz G3 Clamshells without any serious difficulty. I want the faster speed but would like a different color than graphite. Thanks for your help.

One problem I could forsee would be that the earlier models didn't have FireWire ports. You'd probably to mod the case to accomodate the 466's FireWire port.
find a case, cut a hole, or leave the port covered (and i wouldn't). i'd say cut a hole as cleanly as possible since that's what i would do for the sake of having the color i would want but in a faster speed.

i would think other than the firewire port issue it should fit like a glove
your only issue is keeping track of the many many screws.
