I'm in the process of setting up my PowerMac 9600 to use for various things.
One thing I'm having a real issue finding is ATI drivers for their older hardware and older MacOS systems.
Basically if it's MacOS 9 or below you are out of luck on their site. Google has not been of much help - when a site offers a download, it points to ATI's site. Grrrrrr....
Does anyone have a copy of the drivers or know where I can download them?
http://www.driverguide.com ?
Apparently it was recently added and those with free accounts (me) can't get a hold of it yet.
Here it is:
ATI Universal installer 4.2
It's got all the drivers for Rage II, Rage Pro, Rage 128, and the VR TV stuff.
Unfortunately, the download link goes to ATI/AMD's site, which no longer has the download.
Someone provided me a link to download the file from, but I have since lost the file. Drats!
I've got the 4.2 universal installer on my server in the drivers section, see my sig for the address(es).
From what I can see, ATI's web support got fubared by the AMD acquire -

@ dan: Where on your website is the drivers section? I couldn't find it.
Anyhow, driverguide.com allows you to download the file if you watch a couple of ads.

Ah, I should have been more specific about my server. I run a pair of client/server servers, Hotline and Carracho, to serve up files from my home server. You need to DL a free/non-commercial client to access my files. You can DL an older HL v1.2.3 client (classic MacOS) in either PPC or 68K flavors and its SN gen.
or download an OS 9 or OS X Carracho client here.
Then use the appropriate address to get to my server:
hotline bobabooey.dhs.org:9500
. or
carracho bobabooey.dhs.org
