Mac 128k, 512k, probably as collectable as rare coins and appreciate the same way if in great shape w/ orig. boxes, manuals, etc. The others in your list are not worth the cost of shipping (shouldn't stop people like you or me). Mac Classics, Classics II, are available readily off the Apple section on eBay.
The SE/30 is conspicuously missing from your list. It was in the coolest looking of all the compact macs, and, unlike any of the others, it takes a max of 128MB of RAM (the others cap out at 4MB, 512k, 4MB, 4MB, 4MB, & 10MB respectively).
Thats so true,
And yes, I'm sorry. I did forget the SE/30.(it does look cool!)
Funkytoad, I contacted you by e-mail about an original Macintosh I have. I never got a reply so it went to e-bay. My ebay user name is buyer237.
I think i 've got an old Mac Plus in the garage. Interested ?
regards,
Kristof (Belgium - Europe)
I have some Macs and I live in Tacoma. I actually sold a few recently, but I still have a Mac SE/30, LC575, and PowerMac 7200/7500 series I want to sell. Also have a few Powerbook laptops. 1400c, 190cs, 5300. I might also have a Color Classic for sale if the price is right!
Hi Eff-Tee...
Got a Mac Classic... just plugged it in and got a disgruntled icon face. Will look around for a bootable floppy if I hear from you. Noticed a fellow groupee comment vis: no reply...
Have 3 other IMac computers up for grabs as well as a bunch of cables, some VERY bright white; others that oft-seen beige colors along with a few AC adapters... will be posting a FS list with a bit more detail shortly.
Always finding old Mac stuff around so, if anyone needs something, let me know: practically give the stuff away just to delay it's impact on the enviro.
For those who chuckle at a bit of trivia (albeit off-topi)now and then: Used to 'own' 1-800-IBM-APPLE and 1-800-APPLE-IBM back when that likeable dude, Mr. Jobs, was frequently 'in conference' with the movers and shakers at IBM... (sigh!!)
Jimm
P.S. First post: zero offense intended to anyone although I would be quick to apologize should I have inadvertently done so.
