how to remove the audio from video file?

I downloaded some interesting videos, and want to redub in them using video edit software and send them to my friends. I tried Windows Movie Maker, it can mute the audio of source video, and add new audio. But I really want to remove the audio from source video completely, rather than mute.
Who can kindly recommend me some software? Many thanks

Video Converter for Mac works

Video Converter for Mac works. After importing video files, u will find Disable Audio option in the right setting area, then just check True

QuickTime Pro

Unless the audio & video is muxed, QuickTime Pro makes it really easy to remove audio tracks (command-J, select the audio track, and delete - then save or export the file).

You probably want to give us a little more to go on, though. What kind of files are these?

Don't you guys get tired of c

Don't you guys get tired of creating new user accounts to plug this craptacular program?

Or...let me put it another way: If mp4 converter were a good program, you wouldn't -need- to spam forums like this.

what he said

it seemed little suspect to me too. Most video apps support most video codecs anyway, don't they?
