Hello, I currently right now have a Power Macintosh G3 B&W tower running Mac OS 10.4. It has 768 MB RAM and its processing at 450 MHz(over-clocked). This Macintosh can't run more than 5 programs at once(not sure, crashed while running at least 5). My family is on the PC side, I'm interested in both PC and Mac. I have a blazing fast PC, but not a mac. This Macintosh is the fastest Macintosh in the house(have two older macs). I was wondering, which of the new mac's should I get? I don't have a laptop, so a macbook would be nice. I don't have much room where I work, a mac mini would fit perfectly behind my monitor. And I might move out my extra monitor thats sitting next to me, iMac for that. I do 3D graphics and modeling, web programming, application programming, and other creative stuff. My G3 is way too slow to do most of this stuff. What should I get??? I want something reasonably good, but not too expensive. Help me decide if you can. Thank you.

A Mac Pro will perform best with 3D modeling and 3D graphics.
But given your stated needs and options, I think an iMac would be a good fit. A mini is indeed small and affordable, but it's basically a laptop (and not as powerful as a MacBook), so it might not give you the performance boost you want.
The new MacBooks are great, but for the money you'll get much better performance and a much bigger monitor by going with an iMac - and of course the iMac's footprint is virtually zero because it's all contained in the monitor housing.
Best,
Matt
I'd have to second the recommendation of the iMac, with one caveat - get the $1500 model, get 2gb of ram - and you have a pretty nice desktop. For a laptop, I can't recommend the 13" MacBooks - but I can recommend the 15" MacBook Pro. (the base model 15" macbook pro is a very nice machine). The 13" MacBooks have had some weird reliability issues, while thee 15" models have proven to be rock solid.
Although I've never had any problems with my MacBook, the iMac is what you should go for. You get a big screen, lots of RAM and a nice big hard drive.
I should go with the iMac. I don't need a Mac Pro yet. A mac mini doesn't have that great graphics, and I might be getting a PC laptop from my friend(He might get a better one). Though I don't have that kind of money for an iMac, I'm just 13, I don't have a job.
