A few weeks ago I found an old g4 at good will. One of the early models. I was elated until I booted it to discover the previous owner had it passworded. I've been scraping the net trying to find a way around this. I don't have legit install CDs and all the images I've gotten online the g4 refuses to boot from. Is there at least a way I can identify what version of OSX it has on it? Any advice would be appreciated.
