Hi
I've been making floppies from the weres files using adtpro. All these had size of 140Kb and transferred correctly. However, the ADTPro won't open adventure.dsk (or ADVENTURE.DSK). It just says, it was unable to open the file.
I noticed this file size is 47Kb. Any ideas?
Thanks

Yes. That's not a .DSK image, then. Is it compressed in any way? gzipped, zipped, unix compressed, or maybe just corrupted?
If it's not 140k, it's not a full image, so no disk utility is going to mess with it.
It was a adventure.dsk.gz file. I had it ungzipped using IARC archiver in vista. I noticed all my gz files won't unzip correctly (i.e. wont expand to 140Kb). So is perhaps I should use another window extract tool for Vista? Any suggestions?
Thanks

Perhaps you should.

Hi,
Yes, I did use 7-zip package. It took two runs with the softeware to get it unpacked to 140Kb. However, when attempting to transfer, I get the same cannot readfile error. I suspect the gzip/un-tar may hae corrupted the file by inserted extra trailer zeros/spaces etc in the file. I've seen this happen before with other files. Is it possible if someone here has the unzipped adventure.dsk.gz around? I could download that from an attached file etc.
Other gz titles now unzip correctly.

THanks A2Forever for the non-corrupt version. It works great! Thanks to all for your suggestions.
