Hi there,
Has anyone got or used a Sequential Systems SecondSight on an Apple IIe and a VGA monitor? In the manual it says the following modes are not compatible:
Double Hi-Res
Double Low-res
Just wondering if many programs or games use these resolutions? What are your thoughts or comments?
Thanks,
Rob
Here's a page that lists some of the games that run in double hi-res on an Apple IIe/c/GS:

GEOS also uses double hi-res as does Dazzle Draw. There are several other program out there that use the mode.

Robbo,
After all these years, something I have never heard of.
Do you have pictures?
YOU! ..never heard of a SecondSight board?
I tried my SS in a IIe back when it was new (1993 maybe?), but it didn't add much. IIe graphics really look best on a regular old composite color monitor. But, it will work.
It is really best in a IIgs. Even then, standard Apple II graphics often look better on a composite.
A little off topic but have used a Visionary Card for the IIgs. Was better then Computer Eyes, as it captured the picture in a second or 2 if I remember right and better too.
Take care
Keatah,
LOL
I've never said that I know everything.
This happens to be one thing I don't know about.
