I got a battery for my ibook 366 about 2 months ago and its been working fine until yesterday. It will not charge beyond 87% while on, sleeping, off or anything. when plugged in it just stays at 87 and will carge no more than that. It is only running 10.2.8 becuase i could not get 10.3 to install. I have heard 10.2.8 caused problems with ibook batterys, but have had no problems until just recently. any ideas. sorry if this has been a topic before, i just don't remember seeing it before

I had a lot of problems with 10.2.8 on my titanium powerbook, including some battery issues. They all went away when i rolled back to 10.2.6 and didn't come back now that i've upgraded to 10.3.
I reset the PMU because all of the symptoms pointed to that as the problem. I used the directions on Apple's website. I guess i will have to call the local mac shop and ask them. I will still take suggestions.
