Just installed OS X Server 1.2 on a spare Power Mac. Haven't seen this OS running since I installed it on a Power Mac back in '99/00 when it first came out. It's amazing how much better 1.2 is than 1.0/1.1 -- and it's amazing how easy it is to use now that I have a few years of OS X 10.x under my belt! I remember that I originally found Server 1.x so confusing, and now it seems to quaint...
Anyway, I've been googling for extra software to use with this. I seem to remember quite a bit of it still on the internet not too long ago. But aside from a couple of developer apps and Web serving components, I've only come across a handful of random apps - a version of LaunchBar, a version of ToyViewer, and a performance monitoring utility.
I've googled for nextstep/openstep software, but from what I can tell some sort of modification has to be redone by the developer to make such software run on OS X Server 1.x.
So anyone have any idea where I could get free or otherwise LEGAL software for OS X Server 1.x?
