Terrible Vintage packing

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this. I went home today and what did I see sitting on my doorstep? Something packaged in an original, almost pristine Apple IIe box... with duct tape and stickers on it! I immediately made a sour face like I had just sucked on a lemon thinking of how I was going to get that tape off.

The box contained an Apple II clone, of all things, so I was not expecting THAT packaging or I would have asked to protect it. Believe it or not, the box also had all of the old foam packaging inserts. I'm fairly certain the box is more valuable (to me at least) than the actual computer Smile

Here's what I saw on my doorstep when I pulled up.

List it on eBay for $100. That's what everyone else does. Blum 3

Use a heat gun to get the masking tape off.

It took me about 45 minutes but I got the tape off slowly. It was new duct tape so it wasn't too bad. it just has to be pulled back on an angle very slowly. Came out almost unscathed.
