Drool..... that case is in great condition. They usually are broken or sagged from the heat since they are foam not plastic.
The first apple II cases were not made from plastic?
what were they made from, some kind of 'foamed plastic'?

Steven, if you zoom in on the photo, you can almost see the sticker on the side of the power supply by row D on the MB. Its an official Apple sticker. Most of the ones that I have seen from Apple II's this early have handwritten serial numbers on a white sticker.
Falen5, take a look at Geoff Harrison's ventless Apple II here http://www.solivant.com/appleII/ You can tell the difference in material. It almost looks like a denser type of insulating foam. lol
