Its worrying me. Mostly because I really need the custom Rom I ordered .I cant figure out how I'm supposed to send them the bin, and they dont answer emails sent over the past 2 business (4 calendar) days.
They on vacation or are they known to be slow?
Henry is sometimes a little slow. He's basically a one man operation and he can get a little swamped handling orders. My experience is that he's a good guy though and he will come through with what you've ordered.

BTW, what ROM are you trying to order? A CHARGEN/VIDEO ROM? Or a system ROM? Those are all pretty easy to burn if you have a programmer like the Minipro TL866CS that I have.
Keyboard ROM. Somehow I managed to pop the a1 line while experimenting. I also ordered a video rom just because I was ordering the keyboard and I have that CLSYSTEMS one right now.
Henry should have the stock KYB and VIDEO images for the //e and be able to burn those for you without you having to upload anything. You should only need to send him something if you wanted custom images. If you get an EPROM programmer then you can easily do that sort of thing yourself. The MiniPro TL866CS I have is under $50, and I also got a UV EPROM Eraser for around $20. You can get those and new EPROMs off places like Aliexpress or even eBay or Amazon (although may be a little more expensive). If you're doing much hardware work having a programmer and eraser is worth the investment. The TL866CS will also do a lot of other chips like GALs, too. Most of them, anyway. Atmel ATF GALs are another story... But there is a solution for that too.

If you get a burner you can make as many EPROMs and GALs as you like... Also get a UV Eraser.

The TL866CS-II is the newer version of the programmer I have, basically the same but the newer version is supposed to handle a few parts my old one won't. TheBig Moon Eraser is the same one I have, works great.
Well well.... despite their own claims it will program a 2716, it seems it can't - the new version drops the programming voltage to a maximum of 18v - so that's $50 I just threw away.
Wow! That's unfortunate. I've programmed a number of 2716 with my old Minipro TL866CS. What version of 2716 do you have? Most of the ones I have bought recently have been from ST Micro.
ST M2716. I think I may return them, I have some 28C16s on the way (Atmels). Meanwhile their docs are just vague enough to support "you can read a 2716, so its compatible" argument since in the fine print you can dig out a line saying the new version does not support writing to a 21v or 25v chip any longer. Dirtbags.
Yeah, those so and sos changed the max voltage between the old NLA 866CS and the 866II Plus.
Honestly I'm surprised 21v would do the job since the rated programming voltage is 25v.
Oh well, it was either a few bucks more for the 28C16s or a heap more for a more capable programmer.
The old version I have has programmed all the ST M2716 I've tried. It is unfortunate if they made the new one so it won't do any of the old chips that require the higher voltage anymore. That's good to know though. I don't know how available the old version is anymore.
Old versions list for $100+ or not in stock and I've seen several "I ordered CS and got II plus" posts elsewhere on the net.

Most 2716 are programmed with 25V. There are some for 21V and AFAIK no 2716 to be programmed with 12,5V. 2732: many with 25V, a lot of with 21V and some rare examples with 12,5V. Sometimes EPROMs will remember their content just for some days or weeks when programmed with wrong voltage (21V instead of 25V). 21V instead of 12,5V: typically they die.
BTW the database of this chinese piece of software is very bad. I always compare the values to the datasheets of the chips and often I must adjust that.

I have basically no idea about the supplied software since it is for Windows and I don't do Windows. I use the Open Source package that you can find on GitHub. It works on Linux and I belive MacOSX as well, although I don't own a Mac new enough to use it there.
Anyway, so far the Open Source package has worked for every EPROM I've tried. 2716-27512. I haven't done any GALs yet, but I have some Lattice 22V10 that I need to program, I just haven't gotten it done yet.
Can you see the programming voltage in those programs? Is the maximum 21v? (I'm wondering if it's software limited or hardware limited)
I think there is a way to look at the parameters like the programming voltages for the chips, but I haven't needed to so far. Since everything is powered from the USB they must have some kind of buck boost voltage converter in the programmer.
