Mac compatible 802.11b cards

Old airport cards are eye-poppingly overpriced. Is there a resource on the web someone can point me to that lists non-Apple 802.11b PCMCIA cards that would work in a Mac? Google hasn't turned up much for me. I would think somewhere someone would have posted a list or at least which chipsets work. I've found an Enterasys (lucent chipset) worked, but I need that card for something else.

That Enterasys cost me $25 two years ago.
Apple Airport cards are still $100, even on ebay! :o

Which Mac? It's been going around about the Sony PCWA-C130S working in the AP slot. There was a bit of news about Orinoco based cards working too. XLR8yourmac had some news on it, and I'm sure it hit MacSlash too.

Thank you

Sorry for committing such a crime. I searched all the time on the old forums, but with the new format I think I was expecting to see a search page link on the left-hand list of links and didn't notice it up in the right corner. At one point I remember thinking to myself, "why is there no searching on the new forums?" Eh, so I'm blind.
On Xlry8yourmac there was an item on 9/23 about Orinoco Gold cards working. There are enough of those floating on ebay that I should be able to find that magical combo of something that works, is cheap, and from a reputable seller.
