Apple IIGS and Apple Scribe Thermal Printer?

Hello,

Can someone here please confirm if the Apple Scribe Thermal Printer will (or will not) work on an Apple IIGS  computer?

iic scribe?

This is for the Apple Scribe iic

But from my reading. The orignal one take a certain card that came with it. But I could be wrong. Serial would not be the issue. It would be a driver for it on the iigs.
