well folks i just got a samsung syncmaster 150mp i am using as a television and love it, only problem is no remote and i can't use any of my universals because there are no codes. so i need to find a remote substitute, i can always use my dvd recorder or tivo as a tuner but still want one at times. any idea where i can find one? or if anyone has one? thanks a lot

Hmmm, did you try all the samsung codes in the universal remotes?
I know thats probalby a dumb question since you mentioned that you have a universal remote, but it can't hurt to try. Also you might want to try doing the "code scanning" technique which would allow you to hopefully land a code that might not even be for a samsung that would work.
i tried a samsung remote, a sony, 2 rcas, and some other various ones. it is actually a monitor that only works with samsung syncmaster lcd remotes as far as i know so i need to find someone who has a remote but no monitor or a broken monitor and is willing to give me the remote.
