Hey, I have a Microsoft WiFi card (MN-720), and it dosen't work. I was told many wireless cards work with Mac out of the box. This card has a Broadcom chipset (same as Apple I figured out), but it won't work with AirPort software. Is there a generic driver i can use? I have already tried the Orange driver (for the A-something chipset) to no avail. Also, the way I know this is a Broadcom chipset is the PC Card menu in OOS X lists the card as such. But, it also says it's a B card, not a G. Any help here? Thanks!

From what it looks like, Apple's Airport software lacks the Microsoft vendor ID used for that card. There is a link on what to do, but it seems to be down (as of writing this).
Thanks, I used Google to find a post on macosxhints to change the ID in the AirPort extension. Works great now!
It's still there, I just forgot to renew that particular domain. That should be taken care of as of Sat.
Sorry!
