I just started soldering the sockets when i noticed that four(4) 0.01uf caps that I need are missing but there are four(4) 0.1 uf caps excess with the parts that i ordered. Am I missing something or the seller just sent me the wrong caps? Is it ok to use the four 0.1uf caps as replacements for the four 0.01uf caps?

Hello snazzify,
it´s highly recommended to get the correct values and NOT USE the delivered replacements !
The 10 nF (0,01 µF ) are all allocated to timecritical points and change of value at that
spots will seriously change timing ( time delay required for reset, blinking frquency of the cursor )
amd cause partially serious timing issues.
order correct parts from other source, where you damand not to recieve so called replacements but
only values ordered exactly the way they have been ordered.

Thank you speedyG!
One thing to add to this... I would however on a replica recommend changing the .01 capacitor to .1 on the ACI. It makes it more reliable. Mike Willegal talks about it here. http://www.willegal.net/appleii/aci.htm
On an original if you have problems you can just take a .1 cap and hang it on the ACI without soldering. I personally don't even do that. I just load off an iPod which is a little less sensitive than a cassette player.
