Im new, I think im missing something.
Ive got my apple ii+ that works great with an apple langage card and disk ][ drive. Works like it should when I boot dos 3.3 off a floppy.
Now enter brand new floppy emu. I unplugged the drive and put the emu on #1. When i try to boot 3.3 from it, it gos into monitor with
1103-
A=83
X=20
Y=00
P=B5
S=FB
Across the bottom. Crl+c+reset gets me to "]" but it'll take no commands.
Trying to boot prodos 8 v1.9 from tthe emu will say that it did in the middle but goes to monitor. At the screen top screen it says
0002-
A=00
X=FA
Y=40
P=37
S=F7
Crl+c+reset will get me to "]" and I can catalog search the contents of the files on it, but crashes or gives me an I/O if i try to run one.
If i remove the langage card. The computer boots dos 3.3 and will catalog search the emu files, but I/O errors if i try to run one.
Try some different disk images. How are you downloading them and loading onto the SD card? Mayb e something is getting corrupted along the line.
The sd card came with the all in one kit with the preload software. My next route will be finding a few new dos and prodos disk images and figuring out how to correctly load them. Had anyone used macgui.com? Are there downloads ok?
Not familiar with that site. I've usually downloaded images from Asimov
Does this hapen with every disk image you try?
Have you got the Floppy Emu in Apple 5.25" mode and not smartport mode?
