Need help with A2VGA card and mouse

Hello group,

I've just finished building a few of Ralle Palaveev's A2VGA cards. I programmed one as a VGA card, another as a CP/M card and the other as a mouse card. The VGA and the CP/M cards work fine. I programmed the third card initially as a VGA card just to see if the hardware was working then re-programmed it with the mouse file. I have a micro usb to usb cable connected to the pico and I don't have the infrared  light on under the mouse and of course the mouse doesn't respond.  More than likely because I don't have 5v at the usb connector either . I have the jumper on the IRQ pins.  No jumper on the other set of pins. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks

Could you post a picture of

Could you post a picture of your card (both sides) and a link to the GitHub repository?

You need to have 5V over the USB connector in order to power the mouse.

Sorry about breaking the site

Sorry about breaking the site. Thanks for clearing that up for me. My buddy mentioned the jumpers and I forgot there were two.  And it clearly says usb pwr.  Sometimes the obvious is hard for me to see. Now with both jumped I have a working mouse. I'm trying to upload two pictures and they're uploading enormously big. How do I shrink the pics down?

The preview UI is a bit esoteric.  Use the Media Browser button to upload your picture, leave options set to default, including "Display as Default" on the page with the Save button, and it will automatically downscale the picture to fit when users view your comment.  It may look like a massive picture while you're typing your comment in the editor, but the picture should scale correctly after you click Save to post your comment.

If you really want to minimize the size of the picture in your comment, while still allowing users to click it for a more detailed version, then choose "Display as Teaser"

Don't choose "Display as Preview" or "Display as WYSIWYG" unless you are crafting your own html or bbcode.

Even if it looks messy in the editor, try publsihing your comment and see how it actually looks after saving it -- you're most likely find a method that looks good if you attempt a little trial-and-error.  If you don't like how it looks after Saving, immediately click "Edit" under your comment and try deleting your picture and uploading again with different settings.
