I'm in agreement with you. that I know of there is no PDF reader for the Apple II line of computers.

Geoff Weiss created SCAP, or Spectrum Create-a-PDF, which (duh) creates a PDF in Spectrum. But I know of no tool that does the opposite and will read these files on an Apple II.
