6 weeks ago i decided to carry out an overdue major update to my site.
There have been several reasons for this update and changes to become
needed:
That site contains in the meantime more than 1500 pages in lettersize.....
The ENTRY ( Indexpage ) has more than 250 listed topics ......
I started loosing overview of the structure and was running ahead to
get more end more lost links and doubled pages.....
So i was forced to think about a complete new structure avoiding at the
one side to much deep structures with lost pages and at the other side
changing pagetitles to confirm identity of pages matching up with the
indexpage.....
so new structure is using pagenumbers also within pagetitles to confirm
same structure as displayed in the index page....
by that reorganisation also the topics have been arranged in groups indicated
by background color in the indexpage for more easy search and find of topics......
The good news.... after this facelifting navigation will become more easy...
the bad news.... due to change of the pagenames nearly all links given here in the past
will not work any more....
SO IF A LINK IS NOT WORKING - YOU MUST ENTER THE SITE USING THE MAIN LINK
to the INDEXPGAGE ! I will be performing next week a revision here searching for such bad links
but i´m not sure that i will get tham all...specially if other memberss mentioned that pages...
At the other hand i now also discovered a huge bunch of "dead pages" lost in "nirvana"
that are now revoked back to life....
and in future there will not be any changes any more because this new structure
has been designed to last at least several next decades....
Up till Friday evening 22:00 ( CET ) the site will remain in old structure.
To avoid redundancy i will be forced to delete large portions from Friday
night till Saturday evening..... and then i will start with the upload of the new structure...
If no problems occure the complete upload should be solved till Sunday evening
at 20:00 CET and then the new structure should be complely uploaded and running.....
I do strictly recommend all AF-members that have bookmarked pages direct without
making bookmark by use of the index.htm to revisit the site and check the bookmarks
by searching the pages in the indexpage !

Hello to all AF-Members,
the general task is finally completed.
The major changes and updates have been performed so
the
www.appleii-box.de
is back online again and nearly all pages have been
checked to be loading correct.
The only point left for revision is the footlining
and there approval of the links to PDF-files and diskimages.
These footliners will also be approved within the next 2 weeks.
Same is valid to that pages that are availiable in dual languages.
The dual language pages still need revision and that also will be
performed within next 2 weerks too.....
But the navigation is working correct at all pages and
all pages display correct contents without errors.
Please also note my 2 previous postings related to posting of former links....
i appreciate your cooperation and support by correcting such links if you have placed them in former days....

Hello to all AF-members......
In the meantime today the last major block of pages
related to the updates has been uploaded.....
The contents now present will remain that way at least till July 2016....
For those who haven´t taken a view or have not revisited the site within the
last days - here is now a view to the present index/content table of the site below
Please still recognize that at the end of each line the flag indicates the language
of the contribution....
another reminder: bookmarks made before January 2016 will not work anymore except
the bookmark to the basic site page ( indexpage ) due to the fact that pagenames
have been altered to the new numbering/tracking system.
The topics are briefly ordered by groups...
