Folks,
I have a Ball Manufacturing 8" video monitor from the 1970s. I'd like to connect it to the composite video output of a replica Apple 1 computer. The problem I am having is, this monitor does not have a composite video input line. Rather, it has a VIDEO input line and a SYNC input line.
How may I connect the video signal of a replica Apple 1 to such monitor?
Thanks,

Does the the Ball Manufacturing monitor display color?
Do you get any type of display when you connect the video input to the the replica Apple?
I am curious if they are splitting the video and sync or the video and chroma signals. The latter being used on a Commodore 64.
In either event you can purchase "boxes" that rips apart NTSC video. Is it worth the cost? It might be cheaper to purchase an Apple monitor from the Bay.
Is the VIDEO Input an RCA Female plug?
If so, your cable should plug right into it and it should work.
Thanks guys, I tried it and it works!
Yes, this Black & White monitor was built in 1975 in the USA by Ball Manufacturing. I believe Ball is one of the two brands Steve Wozniak recommended in the Apple-1 Operation Manual, page 2.
The monitor has two old school big RF coaxial connectors as VIDEO inputs. So I had to use a connector adapter to change it to RCA connector, so then I could use an RCA cable to hook it up to the video output of the replica Apple 1.
Thanks guys for the help.

There is an individual on the Bay selling unpopulated Apple-1 clone PCBs.
Where did you obtain your Apple-1 clone???
If you can, post a picture for all to see.
