DB19 to IDC20 Floppy Disk adapter

I have a Disk II drive that has the write protect switch disabled. With my IIe I have a 19 pin controller and drive. A2 Heaven sells a DB19 to IDC20 Floppy Disk adapter. I’d like to use it to daisy-chain that Disk II off a 19 pin drive. Has anyone tried this

I don't see why it wouldn't

I don't see why it wouldn't work. My FloppyEmu has a db19 to IDC20 connector and it sits behind my 5.25" drive no problem as drive 2. A FE and Disk II are effectively the same.

Edit: just looked at the one on the A2H site. Physically it wouldn't fit in a drive case meant to daisy chain.  The one that comes with the FE is made differently, and just barely fits. I guess if you took the top of the 5.25" drive it would fit.

You're right it won't fit

You're right it won't fit into the space where the daisy-chain port resides. I had't thought about that. I guess I'll have to either build my own adapter or slap a DB19 cable on the Disk II. I have a couple of those on hand.

The FujiNet guys made a 3d

The FujiNet guys made a 3d printed one that just might work.  Not sure when they are going to start producing them though.

Edit: Hmm, the picture loads in the editor, but not when i save the post.  You can read about it here and see the picture:
