Hi all, I recently had the good fortune of finding a very early rev.0 Apple II motherboard, serial number #120. The board came with many original documents. This early board has white ceramic/gold CPU and ROM chips, the latter with date stamps of 7717. Unfortunately there is a lot of ugly corrosion on these chips.
I've posted this message on the MacRumors forums along with photos:

How I should go about cleaning the corrosion off the chips? Most of the ICs on the board I can swap out with replacements of course, but these ceramic ones must be VERY hard to source these days so I want to proceed VERY carefully with trying to clean them up and salvaging them.
Is there someone who has experience with this who can help?
Much thanks,
Howie
