Anyone used one of these to back up Apple disks?

The software doesn't support writing just yet to Apple format disks, but at some point it will - could be a handy way to make backups of original copy protected software though. Also if backing up a disk to use with an emulator, this would be faster than ADTpro.
The Kryoflux would be a bit like squashing a gnat with a sledgehammer, but yeah - it could build you .dsk images. I don't believe there are any formats that it can produce of copy protected disks that an emulator can consume, though. They've been promising write capability for a few years now - so far, nothing.
