Finally got my CFFA3000 and am having serious fun. But there is one problem: it doesn't seem to want to boot my UCSD Pascal disk images, freshly made from the boot and work disks I use.
I first tried with the CFAA in Slot 5, which resulted in the message "MUST BOOT FROM SLOT 6". Oh, yeah...that sounds like something I remember from 30 years ago.
So I move the card to Slot 6. But when I boot, it instantly crashes into the monitor if I try to boot from my Pascal disk.
I know the card supports this, so what am I doing wrong?
You must use the disk emulation mode with the bootdisk loaded as drive 1 and the pascal disk loaded as drive 2.
While booting from bootdisk in drive 1 UCSD searches for the pascal disk in drive 2 where it must be availiable.

I got it working by copying the disks directly to disk images on the CF card using CFA3000's built-in feature to do so.
I don't know why this would make any difference over creating the images using ADTPro and then copying those to the CF card from the Mac, but it does.
Weird...
