Repairing an Apple Keyboard II

I bought a partially working Apple Keyboard II (M0487). According to the seller the letter 'E' and the top row of the numeric keypad isn't working. Is it repairable and what needs to be done?

Try washing the keyboard in distilled water. You can also try lifting off the keycap and putting isopropanol down the key shaft. Press the key many times until it works.

I think these ADB keyboards are better made than the older keyboards used on the Apple II.
